Fun as the purpose ?

Life is for fun? Ancient Rome had such it's glorious time of civilization. They climbed so high until they didn't have to look for power ,wealth , pride ,art, food , or wine - they had it !

"Having everything" what are next to pursue ? Then came the "entertaintment" life, pursuing the pleasure & excitement of flesh & mind. A gathering with abundant food, wine , dancing ,women & music then became regular event. Perhaps these days we call it "party" .

But entertaintment turn into addiction. The more of it ,the more thirsty for it - it demand a continuous stronger excitement , built up into horror, Gladiator arena ! An expensive glamorious event that some peeple were willing to sell their house to see "the perfomance" !
How cruel & tragic that human can watch other human to be eaten alive literally by hungry , but at the time , it was an entertainment event !

Such a horror ! Not firstly on the "eaten people" but to the human can be the audience of this kind of show ! How Hedonism killed people !
