Consistency

I don't think one would touch the fire - it's hot ! This is the consistency, they know it's hot - as result - they will not touch to fire !

Those who want to touch the fire perhaps are perhaps don't know that the fire is hot or they don't believe it is hot ! Or perhaps they believe they can sustain in the fire ? At least, they won't deliberately to be burnt in fire - which showed in their behaviour !

So I think basically human are consistent ! Only things, one often lie to themselves !
