Business result in 2006 (2)

Within 2 years (2003-2005), our product sales in Indonesia is tripled - profitably. Unlike in most country, competitors - Honeywell, Siemens & Panasonic is no longer above us in sales - after these long ,finally we're the market leader.

We found it very relieving and exciting ! Relief to feel the mission is accomplished, excited to think that it's an important & right contribution ! Perhaps something like "we do the right things"
 
But it was flatten in 2006 !
 

So I planned to argue - the market share & optimalization ! It'll be a strong argument as Indonesia do have the highest market share in Asia, 21%. It's 3 times higher than Singapore,the second best  - with 7% (average % of asia pacific is 2-3%).

Infact, worldwide , there're only 3 country with market share above 10% - German, Belgium & Indonesia - and yes....it's a german company ! Just for note, the data is an official assumption - taken from an independence marketing agency in Germany. (Yes, perhaps some deviation, but wouldn't be that too far !)

I was in the region meeting recently, I canceled my plan for the argument - it's an irrelevant argument anyway ! Not only because in spite of high market share, the nominal sales is relatively small (higher than Malaysia,Vietnam,Phillipine,Korea but lower than India,Thailand,China & Australia)  - but basically you are a problem if you can't contribute a further grow !

Some friends blamed me "You grow too soon, if you give it all too soon, what would left for your negotiation then?"

But No, we didn't regret of doing the task - question is, what is our task !
