Termination fee
How much should employer paid an employe for terminating the job - in Indonesia ?
By law, it's something like 2 times of you working years - multiply by your salary (with some other plus n plus ) !
Let say, for 5 years, it'll be more than 10 times salary ! A relatively high amount hence become sensitive !
Why don't it made it simpler & straight forward ! Just aggresively raised the salary up front so the quarrel after is saved ! Actually government had some plan to take some percentage of salary taken by both employee and employers - to be paid as a termination fee later on if something happen. It's a very common in procedure in other country !
They , the so called parties that claim protecting labor should agree with it....the simple & straight forward ideas...unless...., it's the potential dispute that they are keeping ! Until now, the law is not approved - as those party strongly disagree !
